This is where you discuss the conditions of your crabitat -- temperature, humidity, substrate, decorating, etc.

Can this be used...

I have a friend with a wall of champine grapes.
Can I add the leaves and vines to my crab tank?
How do I treat the leaves and vines before placing them in my tank?

Well- that depends! All is safe IF it has been grown ORGANIC - NO pesticides or fertilizers used. Hermit crabs are sensitive to these things. There are safe methods of fertilizing organically- chicken poo, cow poo, worm casting, bat guano....but pesticides are a no no.

To prepare IF ORGANIC (if not organic- takes several months to convert to organic)- you rinse with dechlorinated freshwater- then freeze or bake.
