I know that the answer is probably no... But, Shellby buried himself underground two and a half days ago... He'd been pretty lethargic for a few days beforehand, and he was eating a lot, and I was not shocked when he went down and "molted..."
But, Shellby just dug himself up and is now having fun! He just climbed up the climbing toy and also, his skin color looks way less pale and darker. Could he have possibly molted? I know that they sometimes will just dig down to have fun, but the fact that he's now acting and looking fresher...
Shellby is about 2 inches in width. Could that have POSSIBLY happened? It was our first molt together. Thanks in advance!

Unless the crab has more hair, and sharp dark claw tips, it hasn't molted.dstephens wrote:I know that the answer is pribably no... But, Shellby buried himself underground two and a half days ago... The shortest I've had was 4 days, and that was with a Nickel sized crab. For a more average sized hermit it was 10 days.

UPDATE: So my buddies were just messing with me; turns out, RAZOR changed to a shell exactly like shellbys! Also, there is a hole that tells me that Shellby dug himself out of his hole, but nowhere can I find Shellby, and it doesn't look like Shellby buried himself anywhere else. Bad?
