Bug bombs

Post by Puoyo » Mon Sep 25, 2017 4:50 pm

I didn't know where else to put this, sorry

My parents are gonna bug bomb the house this week, and I'm worried about the crabs, they say they'll just put a towel over the tank, but that worries me, will they be okay with just a towel? Or will we have to move them to the garage?

A towel won't be enough, but you can seal the tank with a couple layers of strong plastic wrap or, as you mentioned, move the tank.

How big is your tank & are there any crabs underground right now?

It's about 25 gallons, and I have one crab underground right now.

That's a pretty big tank... with a moulter down, I'd wrap it in about 20 000 000 layers of plastic wrap with fresh water & food...if you have a bubbler, turn it off. Leave it like that for... I dunno.... maybe 3-4 days? I'm not sure how potent these things are. Maybe someone who knows better can chime in?

How long do they say humans should stay out of the house?
