Sorry maybe it's an Aussie term.

HI Renroc,

I'm just wondering what the dimensions of your breeding tank are, how big your breeding colony was (how many males and how many females) as well as how large your breeding crabs were (as in medium/large small)

Thanks Renroc, I would so like to try breeding thee guys!!

Not sure what you mean by me breeding tank. But the 5 adults ( in 3-4cm opening shells) were in a tank that is 90x45x45cm. Pools were 3L juice bottles cut down and held about 2L each. I obviously have at least one male and I think 2 females but not sure.

Well I’m not certain this will work. It’s my first go at uploading video to YouTube and linking. But hopefully this won’t vanish like all the earlier videos. I’ve made it private so only people with the link can view it. https://youtu.be/97nj2zqVT88

This was the first time I saw them actually scraping off the cuttle bone. There is powdered stuff in the bottom of that dish as well.

They are getting quite a bit darker in colour as well lately.

Babies are 11 months old today. Got good footage of this one coming out of its shell and standing up. https://youtu.be/meZA5xCxgoA

I've just realised that my babies are only 16 days short of their first birthdays. Still got at least 6 but think there are still more. :cake:
