Babies in bigger shells make much more noticeable alterations to the surface of the sub. They are all down for the last few days. The first one in a big shell went down the day after it changed. The second did much the same but maybe had 2 days before going down. Sort of a bit sad to see how big they get in this moult. Glad I took a before photo so I can compare.

Number One has absolutely done a moult. Look how well it’s filling that huge shell now. Also note hairy legs and sharp black toes.

Pigging our on the food side of things too. Filling hollow legs like a teenager or packing in the food like a toddler for a growth spurt. Not quite sure.
