This is where you discuss shells for your hermit crabs. Not for selling/swapping shells, use Classified Ads for that.

Shell selection

Here is my current shell selection. Let me know if there are any that are incorrect. I do try to follow the preferred shell guide. I removed the gold mouths and put them back in my shell jar.

First of all, I can tell you that I am unable to view it. I am not a member on FB.

Some hermits do like Gold Mouths. I know mine like to pick at the insides of them. :)
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com

That was a mobile upload, from my phone, so I'll try it from my computer. If that doesn't work, I will try a different photo hosting site.

That's a nice shell selection, but the turbos look smaller than the picas, do you have a caliper to measure the openings? You can buy one for really cheap on Amazon. I think the one I purchased was around $9. It is digital and fits in my purse :) It is a good tool to have for when you need to order shells!

As far as shells, you want to order what your hermit prefers. A lot depends on what species you have also! Now if he has always preferred heavy shells, order a light shell that fits him so he can check it out. Then, go from there. :)

Yes I have a caliper but it's not digital so it is hard to read it. The spotted turbo in there has a 1" opening and he did check out the banded turbo that has a 3/4" opening. And I have two PP's. One is molting.
