Is salt safe for hermies?

Looking through different foods for them. In the safe foods list it says no salt or preservatives, but in the unsafe foods its not listed.

There can be additives in salt that are not considered safe, like anti-caking agents, and iodine that should not be used. It's also safer to avoid added salt in pre-packagee meats and foods because you can't know what all has been added to it, but a little bit is not going to outright harmful.

Pure salts are completely safe, just read the packaging to be sure what all is in it. Himalayan Pink Salt has always been a popular supplement for crabs. Some of the other specialty salts that offer more than just 'salt' can also be good, like Red Alea and Jurassic.
