Crabs like to dig and tunnel. They can stay under months at a time. Resist the urge to dig them up.

Watch at the foot of the ladder. It's cute, after he switches shells, he sticks his head back in the other shell to make sure he didn't leave anything. By the way, after he walked around for a minute, he changed back into his previous shell.

Friday I finally saw one crab, of the 5. But I haven't seen any since then. My crabitat feels so empty, it's like no one is living there!

Caught him finally up again!!! He’s getting bigger slowly, but still working on his large claw. Love my Capt. Jack!!!

I know @Hermiesguardian!!! Life has been nuts lately and I’ve missed posting.
I haven’t gotten any new crabs lately, mainly because I’ve been watching him closely with his back to back molts & large claw. I’m planning to hopefully get one this weekend!!

Dwebble suprised me by hiding under the food bowl. I picked up the food bowl and there he was! Always the best way to start a morning by seeing your crabs.
