Nope, not slime mold! That stuff grows on surfaces. Google yellow house mushroom.
I get these in my terrariums as well and what you're seeing through the glass is the underground mycelium. I have had it stick around for months, and other times it swarms the tank and the springtails eat every last bit and leave the tank spotless. To get rid of it you really have clean and sterilize well, but it only takes a few spores to come back. Highly recommend springtails for constant management!

Fantastic! I thought it was strange to see mycelium but I didn't think about it hard enough lol. Anyone have suggestions on what to tip this thing with? It's 16.4inches wide and about 17 long per...square indent? Not sure what to call it. Thinking 3 plexiglass panels and one screened section with a fan for air flow.

Ok decided to use my 40 breeder that I currently have as a topper for this tank! It happens to fit perfectly.

If you decide to use a plexi lid, highly reccomend getting the thickest plexi you can get. They prone to wraping /bending, epsecially when thin.

Thanks for the input! I got one square of plexi today that's about 1/4 of an inch thick because they were out of everything else 
I guess I'll end up replacing if it doesn't work!
Also, I have a colony of springtails I've been keeping for the tank only to find out that I have the same species everywhere in my garden outside
or a very similar species-i honestly haven't put them under the microscope to ID. Fast little guys. Here is my current colony, thriving on nutritional yeast there's probably at least 100 in there but they move so quickly my camera can't keep up. Plus more with my various isopod species.
