Mine start being active about 10pm and settle down and start hiding about 6, 7 am. So they would need the heat on during that time. They are mostly noctornal. What does the temp go down to during the day?

These appear to be two solid heating elements instead of the stripe designs I have received in the past from The Bean Farm.

This is what I got from reptile basics as well. It's odd, and I personally think it doesn't heat as well.

I personally disagree. Mine was heating WAY too well until I put a thermostat on it. I have the 23" x 11" UTH from reptilebasics, which looks like the one in the picture. It was around 90° in winter!!! :hlol:
