Calypso is a PP. That's the only type of land hermit crab I've ever had. Awww I'm sorry, yeah it's always hard to lose a pet, whether it's a fish or a crab or a dog.

I agree. you should get calypso a new freind. BTW, i am a huge pirates of the carrabian fan, so i love the name!

Yes, please. Those who have exotics, where did you find them? I’m definitely interested in having s couple of Es, but someday I would absolutely love to have an Indo. I just think they are so interesting and beautiful- all of them, I hope to have straws someday too, but I gotta get to that point first! Gotta slow my roll a bit for a while.

Perhaps it should be a new topic, but I also would love to know where to find them down the road...

I was in a pet store getting new moss for my crabs, when i walked by the enclosure for hermit crabs. everything was perfect! the crabs looked very happy and healthy. but they had another enclosure that said "fancy hermit crabs". they looked excactly the same as the normal ones, and they were twice as expensive! what is the dif between norm and fancy land hermit crabs???
