Definitely Clibanarius vittatus. Most LFS sell premixed saltwater for saltwater aquariums. I’d start there.

Ok so we've lost 5 out of 7 crabs. Averaging about 1 per day. No one will take these things and I've done everything I know to do. Please someone tell me how to put these poor things down quickly

Did you put them in Instant Ocean? I kept two of them; one for a year, in a 20 gallon tank on my kid’s desk. I set up a saltwater aquarium for them. One was in a tiny 5 gallon salt water setup until I could upgrade. Both rescued from people who brought them home in seashells.breren92 wrote:Ok so we've lost 5 out of 7 crabs. All they need is saltwater made from dechlorinated freshwater and ocean/saltwater aquarium salt. They will survive!
