There is a care sheet in the 'Care Sheets' section regarding Strawberries. Was there something that isn't covered in the care sheets that you were wondering?

Yes, I read the care sheet, but was hoping to hear from some owners. I've heard/read they are very hard to keep, but their requirements don't seem that different. Constant temp, more saltwater and some specific types of foods, but is there anything else to know? I have an opportunity to adopt a couple strawberries, but wanted to know if I'm prepared to do so. I only have PPs right now. Thanks for any advice...or just fun facts about how they're different, etc.?

Strawberries are just more sensitive, is all, but to what we don’t fully understand.

They never last more than a few years in captivity, but some have reported that UV lighting seems to help.

Has anyone ever tried deep heat projectors? I've been reading that this type of lighting is the latest thing for reptiles that need UVA/UVB? Just curious if it might work for hermit crabs? Thanks for your reply!!
