I have only had hermit crabs since middle of November I believe. One of my 3 went down around Dec 20th and just came back up today! (he wasn't coming up at night even). Over Christmas I moved the other 2 into a bigger tank and was just waiting on this guy to come up to move him too. So he's in a tank on his own right now.
So since he just came up last night - should I wait a while to move him or just move him in with the other two? I wasn't sure which would be less stressful for him.
This was my first molting experience ever and I'm glad it went well! Sometimes I get worried reading the other posts about molting.
First successful molt =)

Personally, I'd move him over right away. Just in case he decides to go right back under and you need to wait again.
A quick transfer won't hurt, and he'll be with his fellow crabbies again.

And I can dip him in the freshwater of the new tank just like I would with a "new" crab?
