Does anyone else have a PP with red eyes? My crab Kaulder has the cutest red beady eyes. ImageImage

Both of mine are down molting right now so I haven't seen them in about a month but I think that they both have kind of maroonish-brown colored eyes? Let me see if I have any close up pictures of them really quick that I can post! Here's Kaladin! He is a pretty little guy! Image

Aw Kaladin is so adorable! What a great close up!
If I tried to get that close Kaulder would hide her eyes in her shell lol. Image

Oh, that's interesting! I never thought about hermit crabs having genes but I guess it makes sense! That's cool!

My one crab Hoodini (I regret letting my brother name him "Hoodini" instead of Houdini (He named him after a owl character from a video game, thinking I wouldn't know). He got a "hoot" out of me saying yes though, so 😝 ) is a dark purple, red pp with red/dark brown eyes (He looks like Kaulder)! I need to get Tapatalk soon so I can show him to you all ^^
Three PPs (Hoodini, Aaron Burr, and Jubali)
Love my deceased baby crabs George Washington, Zero, Domino, Billy, Eduardo, and Shelly too 🥺

Aw I'd love to see a pic of him! Maybe Kaulder and Hoodini are siblings hehe. Image

That's awesome! I never looked at my crabbies eyes that close until now. My Beau has more oval black eyes. Image

Odin has red eyes himself! I'd say their more of a Tuscan red though, my phone camera kinda distorts the colors a little bit. You can even see the pupils!
