Using Prime Dechlorinator in Small Amounts

Post by Cal » Wed Jun 10, 2020 2:22 pm

I’ve never used dechlorinator before, but I’m looking into getting some since it’s a hassle to have to take extra store trips for spring water. I’ve heard people recommend Prime dechlorinator which I THINK is this, but please correct me if I’m wrong!Image
However, I have no idea how to portion it out for like one gallon at a time. It says use 5 mL for 50 gallons, and I don’t have a clue how to separate out 0.1 mL. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could do that, or recommendations for other dechlorinators?

Using Prime Dechlorinator in Small Amounts

My opinion prime is the best, a lot of people use it. It is two drops per gallon.

Edit to add: I get the smaller 50ml/1.7floz bottles bc of the way the top is, you can do the drops easier. Image

That’s handy information to know!
I just purchased that exact item yesterday myself... specifically so I wouldn’t have to make the extra store trips in the future either!!

EDIT: I bought the bigger bottle, though... guessing I’ll need to use an eye dropper??

Sorry to reply a second time, but is the 100 mL the same like top as the 50 mL? Because it’s the same price for double the amount. If not, I don’t mind buying the 50 mL, though, lol!

Sadly, only the 50 mL bottle has the dropper cap at this time
