Any suggestions to prevent cholla wood from growing mold in the tank? My humidity is usually between 80-90%
Thanks!

Re: Mold question
You could put springtails in your tank, they eat mold. Just make sure there are no escape routes out of the tank.

Re: Mold question
They do best/require high humidity to thrive, as they have thin exoskeleton. Springtails are naturally present within the home as well.SilverHermits wrote:You could put springtails in your tank, they eat mold. Just make sure there are no escape routes out of the tank.
Otherwise, I'd suggest boiling the wood in salt water, abd salt inhibits mould growth.
