Brown Pincher
My E, Cocoa, is white and brown, and with a brown pincher. I've never seen this before. And he moves so fast. Anyone else have hermit crabs with brown pinchers?

Re: Brown Pincher
Can you post a picture? Are the legs white and fade into brown? Sounds like one of my crabs, instead of white it's orange. There are tons of PPs that are brown/have brown pinchers (including some of mine)

Are you sure it's an e? Sounds to me like you are describing a ruggie.jonathon1989 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 10:25 pmMy E, Cocoa, is white and brown, and with a brown pincher. I've never seen this before. And he moves so fast. Anyone else have hermit crabs with brown pinchers?

Re: Brown Pincher
Es will have bi-colored pinchers, and they tend to match the strongest color on their body. I've had them with blue, orange, red, yellow, green and brown.
Ruggies tend to have vivid blue pinchers, but also a distinctive shading to it.

Re: Brown Pincher
He is a very gorgeous E!
Es and Rugs do look an awful lot alike. I'm not sure how to explain the difference, honestly. Rugs are more spindley while Es are more squat and tank-like. Markings are different. Es eyes are a bit more rounded and fat.
