Finally Feeling Confident!

Post by CrabSuffrage » Sun Dec 20, 2020 5:00 pm

After a month of studying and trying different things, I think we've finally figured out a good configuration for my class crabs! Sadly, in the process, one died (she was super weak and inactive after we received her so I imagine there's a certain amount of PPS). Another one dug himself in and we haven't seen him since Thanksgiving. But Crabigail! She went from being a pretty sleepy mostly lethargic crab to scuttling about all the time! So happy to see her really coming into her own now that she has a steady 75-80 degrees and 80% humidity. And the preschoolers in my class LOVE to check in on her and talk about all her different needs (we've been talking a lot about different types of water when we care for her, and how most animals can only survive in one type or the other).
