HELP Delsiciously crabby
Ok, so I put an order in for about 30 dollars worth of food for deliciously crabby. First off, we are on the second week since I ordered it and the lady finally got a label for it Monday and nothing else has happened I have communicated with her but she is not really doing anything and is really dragging her feet. I dont want to hate on her store, and I just know I will love her products but I cant love them if she does not send them! What should I do? Also I ordered salad of the sea, chitin and chunks, and pumpkin patch. I dont have these items already so if I were to get a refund where can I get them elsewhere? ( It can still be on Etsy)

You should stay calm and wait. There could be multiple reasons why there is a delay, many could be out of her control completely. Unless you paid for overnight shipping, there probably isn't a guarantee of how long it will take an order to arrive.
If I recall, you have lots of other food to tide you over until you get your order.

Re: HELP Delsiciously crabby
I can't speak for Deliciously Crabby. Based on our experience with our shop I can get pretty crazy at times.
Sometimes we may get an order and it will take us a few days to get to it due to normal life stuff, work, cooking, cleaning, crab care, laundry, shopping, etc. Not that we don't want to get it out the next day, we just run out of time. I wish one of us could do our shop full time, it just isn't feasible.
They may state in their store policies they only mail orders out once or twice a week. It can be a pain having to wait in line at the post office. Ours stopped having a drop off window after someone said a package was swiped. I wouldn't feel comfortable scheduling a pick up and letting packages sit out in town either.
We even dropped packages off at the post office and then they weren't scanned in for a day or two.
I'm sure they probably have similar situations as us too.
No other shops will have those exact mixes, I'm sure you could find similar ones searching our resource page in the shop area. I would honestly give them a little more time. We ordered stuff on December 5th from two vendors we absolutely love on Etsy. The one order finally showed up this past Saturday! It was just the post office was so backed up and nothing was moving.

Once it has a label, is it not out of the shipper's hands how long it takes?

Re: HELP Delsiciously crabby
ok. I just didint understand. The one I ordered from Mary Akers shipped the next morning the one from MT Pet Emporium shipped the next morning and 2 weeks later the one I ordered finally said it has a title but hasnt made it to UPS building and has not actually shipped. I wanna wait till this Friday and if nothing has changed I dont know what to do. I messaged her just a while ago again and I hopefully will get an understanding as to whats up. Like, I said I really like her shop and I her products seem really promising. I know she has no control over shipping. Hopefully things work out.curlysister wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 8:11 pmYou should stay calm and wait. There could be multiple reasons why there is a delay, many could be out of her control completely. Re: HELP Delsiciously crabby
? All I know is it says it is in Pre-Transit and that there was a label created this Monday in the morning and UPS is waiting for the package so it can get shipped. I am waiting till at least this Friday maybe longer and see if anything changes your responses seem promising. I am now sure that must be whats happening, her reviews seem good so that is a good sign.curlysister wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 8:28 pmOnce it has a label, is it not out of the shipper's hands how long it takes?

Re: HELP Delsiciously crabby
We always create our shipping labels after an order is packaged and ready to go. That way we know the weight and costs to ship are correct. Pre Transit just means that the package wasn't scanned into the post offices system yet.
If it was me I would probably wait to contact them until Monday. If they drop things off at the post office on Saturday it will give some time for the package to be scanned in.

I already messaged them before I wrote this topic. I will be patient the next few days and wait for further notifications.Motörcrab wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 8:58 pmWe always create our shipping labels after an order is packaged and ready to go. Re: HELP Delsiciously crabby
For sure always contact before panicking, and give a reasonable amount of time for response, a couple of business days. It could be an honest mistake, a wrong tracking number, or a problem on the part of the shipping company. Once it gets dropped off it is out of everyone's hands, and I've had packages that were never scanned into the system and were delivered without any updates before.

Re: HELP Delsiciously crabby
Last Friday she said she would have it out. This Monday a label was created and it stayed like that until yesterday (Thurs). My mom got sick of me asking her about it and opened a case asking for a refund. Less than an hour later magically the package was received by UPS. And we got refunded, I feel somewhat bad but it had been over 2 weeks and on her website it clearly states that the item should be shipped between 5-7 days of purchase 7 days tops it had been 14 days. Anyway with the refund I am getting more Christmas presents for the crabs. I plan on ordering from MT Pet Emporium again and getting 2 new shells with the carvings on them (I have always wanted them). And that is it again I feel bad but she wasn't really responding etc. And she told me she would have it out last week Friday and it never happened and she never gave me an explanation as to why like COVID issues, or Post Office issues. Oh, and I am buying a mussel form MT Pet, I am taking your word for it and wanna see if the crabs like it.Motörcrab wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 8:25 pmI can't speak for Deliciously Crabby.
