I just adopted my new friend today from a nice family. I was able to sex her, and it's def a she. I've never had a crabby this purple all over before. Even her antennae are a pretty purple. She's small, so I put her in my 20 gal with my other 4 small crabs. The nice lady gave me one of crabby's favorite climbing ornaments, so I put that in the tank too. She went and buried/hid right away.
I'm assuming she's just a really purple PP and not a Viola right?

So pretty! And yes, a purple PP! She may get to be an even brighter, deeper purple as she molts too!

I can't wait to see her after her first molt with me. I believe the previous owner said she had her for appx 5 years.

I decided to name her Persephone! That's the Greek goddess/queen of the Underworld, haha!
