Nutmeg came up on Friday after a 5 day moult. Doing well so far and tonight went for a swim in the fresh water.
This morning I woke up to more zoea in my salt pool. So it starts all over again. about 450-500 was the count as I transfered from the tat pool to the jars for raising.

Well yesterday 14th April I had some more zoea in my salt pool so I transfered them to the raising set up.There were between 4 and 5 hundred. Today I've been gifted with yet more. This time about 300 so I suspect it is the same female just depositing the remainder of her eggs.
Off I go again on the raising process. Nutmeg is however going strong in the transition tank.

So exciting! Congratulations! Nutmeg is soo precious! I hope they are the offspring of the captive bred, just because that would be so cool to have the second generation captive bred babies. We are rooting for you and all of those precious babies! Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us, I love watching them change and grow. They are really just such amazing little guys and then everything they go through makes them such little miracles, I can’t get enough of seeing them grow.

Pretty sure the father is a captive bred but the females are all rehomed from people who couldn't keep them any more.
