Hi all, looking for a bit of advice. My crab went down around December time, and was pretty active underground for about a month (maybe came up once or twice to eat) then stopped moving around so I presume he started his molt. Then maybe February time he was up for 2 nights in a row and ate some food before disappearing underground again, where he still remains to this day! Nothing is disturbed, his water dishes are clean, no food touched etc. Every so often I will hear little movements (usually it's a claw squeaking on the glass). Temperature and humidity pretty stable always.
Is this "normal"?? I'm really worried as I didn't think they would hide for so long. I don't think he can be de-stressing as nothing really has changed (we moved house in October last year but he seemed fine). Is he OK??
My crab has been underground for almost 6 months!!

If he was last above ground in February, he has only been underground for 3 months. That is totally normal.

My jumbos have stayed under 100% of the time for over a year. You're good!
