How to keep crabs warm without heat mat or lamp

This is where you discuss the conditions of your crabitat -- temperature, humidity, substrate, decorating, etc.

78 is absolutely comfy for Purple Pinchers. Yes, you will probably need one before winter, but depending where you are in Florida, and how warm your house is usually kept, you may not need very much additional heating.

The thermometer/ humidity gauge is definitely the highest priority going forward, though. You absolutely need one to be able to keep the tank in a safe range for hermit crabs.
