Hello, everyone! I recently joined the HCA, and I am very glad to be part of this! I have three hermit crabs. I saw them at a beach shop, and I couldn’t help, but pick them up. I kept them in a small plastic container, until I could take them home. I provided them with dechlorinated water, (As well as salt-water.) and a variety of safe foods daily! They have a beautiful enclosure at home! Waves, the sweet, and active one! Tide the active, and nervous one! Also, Bubbles the shy, and incredibly sweet one! Thank you, everyone! Byeeeeeeee!

I have one question though... you are not still keeping them in that little plastic container right?

No, I don’t. They have a nice 10 gallon tank with plenty of Eco Earth, and some sand at my house! I am also planning to receive some live chia plants from my friend who has hermit crabs as well, soon! The plastic container is just a transport tank! I could show you a picture if you would like?

Welcome! They all sound really cute, and welcome to the world of crabbing.

To post pics you require a 3rd party site, like Flickr or imageshack or using the forum app 'Tapatalk' (should be in the appstore) and then upload pics through that.
