Best way to clean all supplies?

Post by adef99 » Thu Sep 02, 2021 4:12 pm

Hello,

I am currently planning to give away my hermit crab supplies (my hermit crabs passed away a while ago and I cannot get new ones right now). Before I give the stuff away (dishes, shelters, shells, etc.) I want to make sure I give them a nice clean. I know not to use chemicals to clean, but do you think just submerging these items in hot water will do the trick? Or clean with vinegar? I don't have enough fresh water solution at the moment so any other tricks would work if there are any :)

Thanks!

You can just use soap and tap water for most of it. Anything organic like wood that will absorb water can just be air-dried, baked, or boiled.
