Molting time

Post by Jennlin97 » Fri Nov 12, 2021 1:49 am

I bought my first hermit crabs about a year ago, and one of them went down to molt in May. They haven’t come back up yet and I’m starting to get concerned that they may have died? There’s no rotting/ammonia smell and I don’t want to dig it up in case they are just taking a long time. The other hasn’t molted at all since I got them, is that normal? I’m not exactly sure what size they are considered (I think medium/large). Thanks!

What are you using for substrate?
Do you have a camera so you know that he hasn't been coming up and night when you aren't awake?
