6hr in car with crabs
im wanting to get more crabs, but the trip bringing them back to my house will be 6 hours. my sister's crabs died when she moved them, but this would be a great opportunity to get more. any advice on how to care for them on the road?

Mine were packaged in Tupperware with air holes and filled with damp moss for their twenty-hour roadtrip (more if you count overnight stay). All survived.

Re: 6hr in car with crabs
There's a difference between moving established crabs who have been in captivity for a while and are healthy, and newly purchased crabs.
New crabs are already at really high risk of death, just because of the way they were collected, transported, and treated by the stores. Is there any place closer to you where you can purchase, which will cut down on their stress levels? Or is adopting a possibility?
