I recently got a 12" x 12" x 18" tall exo terra tank

Their old tank was a 20 gallon long tank (the 20 gal is not an exo terra, and I don't know the exact proportions, just that it's a long 20 gallon), I'm trying to decide which one to keep. The 20 gal is not as tall but its longer, so the substrate in that tank is about 3 inches high. My smallest hermit crab, Beth, liked that there was a long area of substrate, and my medium size hermit crab, Boba liked climbing, but there wasn't a whole lot of things to climb on in the 20 gallon. My newest and largest hermie, Crunchy, doesn't really care either way as long as there's some substrate, some climbing things, lots of coconut to eat, and his favourite coconut hut

With the exo terra tank, there's lots of climbing stuff and even a 3-D climbing wall/background! (I caught Boba climbing up the wall yesterday, I walked away for about 5 minutes and when I came back he was climbing upside-down on the lid of the tank

) For Beth the substrate isn't as long, but it's deeper, more like 4-5 inches deep, and like I said before, Crunchy doesn't really care as long as there's stuff to do and all his favourite coconut things
