Hamster Bedding for Hermit Crabs?

Post by hermitcrablover2 » Thu Jan 26, 2023 5:16 pm

I have a bunch of extra hamster bedding, it's low dust, made of paper, and not scented. Would it be okay to use this in the crabitat if I mixed it with coco fiber, the fiber being the main percentage of the substrate?

No, it will rot and get extremely moldy. Paper bedding is made for dry conditions, not moist environments.
