Crab buries himself during day?
Hi all! So I have two hermies. One is smaller and has been underground for 3 weeks now. My bigger one has successfully molted and is above ground (kind of). My one that is above ground only comes out in the middle of the night. He goes to eat and drink at night, and then rushes back over to the same corner of the tank to burrow. So during the day I see nothing. Why would he choose one specific corner? It was also the same one he went down to molt in. It’s not even super close to a heater. How can I increase his activity? Conditions have remained stable in the mid to low 70s(cooler end, furthest from heaters, max 85 degrees near heater) With 70-85% humidity.

He may just like his corner
Does your tank have a lot of open space? Hermits tend to be more adventurous if there’s more cover, like foliage or branches above them
Some crabs are also just naturally reclusive. They’re crepuscular so they don’t always do a lot during the day anyways
