Setting up a 29g Baby Tank. Any advice?
Hey you guys!
Back in March I set up my 55 gallon tank for my crew of now 4 crabs. Since then, I've had an unoccupied 29 gallon filled with substrate and have decided to use it as a captive-bred baby tank!
I'd love some advice on how to set it up. I'm already thinking LOTS of climbing stuff- sky bridges, coconut huts, and more. For those of you who own these babies-especially Motor and Xeno- what else do the babies seem to prefer? Any essentials?
Thanks in advance!

Honestly, captive bred have no additional requirements besides the obvious pricetag and ensuring that the shells/resources are scaled to suit. For example, a giant wheel isnt going to work!

Did you ever get the captive bred babies? Do you have babies pics and tank pics? If so can you please share?!Pumpkincrab wrote: ↑Fri Aug 05, 2022 10:34 pmHey you guys!

No, I don't have any captive-breds yet. Not sure when! I'm still working on the tank. I'll see if I can get some pictures today or tomorrow.

No, no baby wheel yet. It's not a necessity in my book, so I haven't been so quick to grab one. Maybe I'll get one during CrabCon, maybe not- we'll see. Might just save money and wait to get one.
