Zilla Omnivore Food Mix

Post by leohmygosh » Thu Jan 18, 2024 12:30 am

I recently bought the zilla omnivore mix for my crabs, and while it doesn’t contain anything harmful i’m wondering if there’s anything i should be doing to make it more palatable to my crabs? like is there anything i should be adding into it, should i grind it up a little so they can eat it easier, should i just switch their food entirely bc it’s not worth the effort?

It's a great mix to add into their food rotation, but it should be part of their diet and not the only thing in their diet. It's a good selection but comes up short in fruits, and having dried along with fresh/frozen items is always a good idea. You shouldn't need to do anything to it other than offer a few pieces at a time, grinding food is more to make feeding easier for us and to reduce space when storing things.
