Finding a new hermit crab

Post by crazy10149 » Sat Aug 03, 2024 3:41 pm

How can I find a new hermit crab in Houston, Texas right now? One of my hermit crabs died but the other one is still alive and I am trying to find it a friend/companion before something happens to it.

There is no rush to get another crab - they can live very successfully alone.

You can keep checking the adoption forums here and make a post as an adopter as well.

You can also check E-Bay. Surprisingly I've found adoptions on there. But be careful, Ebay can be sketchy so make sure to meet in a safe public place during the daytime.

Hello!

I actually have 4 very healthy hernit crabs I am looking to give away to a good home. There are 2 that are larger sized, and the other 2 are medium sized. They often go under to molt so I don't want to disturb their molting process by digging them up. However, I am looking for a good home for them and I live in Houston, Texas. They are all very healthy and happy! I have had them for about 2 years now, and they grow pretty fast! I would be happy to give you all 4, 15 gallon tank included. Please contact me if you're interested. Thanks!
