Unusually active after substrate change

I just changed their sub from just playsand to half the tank sand half hermit crab soil, also rearranged the tank a bit, climbing over everything, during the day aswell and i started to get worried, is everything ok?

It is completely normal for your crabs to be active during the day no worries!

This sounds like it may have been a bit of panic on their part? They can get stressed by changes, and an overactive crab is usually a freaked out crab. It's okay, there's really no way to avoid when you need to do maintenance. I'm betting they were settled back down by the next day?

Srry abt delayed reply, they have settled down a bit but are still climbing around alot at night, but less during the day.
