Dies meat have to be organic?

Post by HermitGuy3 » Sun Dec 01, 2024 4:55 pm

Hi! I was wondering if meat products should be organic? I know that fruits and vegetables should be organic, but I am not sure about meat such as chicken, beef, turkey, and other things. Thank you!

Nothing 'needs' to be organic, altho some crabbers do choose to feed organic. The concern is that pesticides and insecticides target the exoskeleton of insects, so they may be harmful to crabs as well. Some foods are treated with more pesticides than other foods, and if the foods may contain higher residuals, some will consider giving organic of those. For example, some berries etc with thinner skins so that the fruit may absorb the pesticides, or fruits with thicker skins where the pesticide residues can linger people will not feed the skins.
