I've kept hermit crabs for over 20 years (I got her in 2009), but recently have become disabled. Her companion passed away a few months ago and I cannot physically continue caring for a 75 gallon tank. It is breaking my heart to see her alone.
I never thought I'd have to rehome her, so this is a little emotional for me. But she deserves so much better than what I can give her right now.
I have a lot of supplies, UVB lights, shells, large cholla wood, etc that I am happy to pass along with her. I just want her to thrive and be happy. She is such a sweetheart, she will respond to you when you move your fingers a certain way (wave her antennae and come to the glass). Just a wonderful little crab.
Please let me know if you are interested in adopting her! I'd like to hear about your tank setup, crabs' diet, etc. Thanks!
