Molting Pictures of Talisé (My C.brevimanus)

Last week – one of my 4 Indos – successfully molted … the exoskeleton was relatively intact after shedded

It only took 4 days for Talisé to be hard enough – see him consuming the discarded exoskeleton.

I still don't get why crabs eat their own exoskeleton, does it help them get harder?

He has shifted his costume to a Sumbawan green land snail (Asperitas bimaensis).

Coconut - or occasionally pounded dried shrimp with skin.
