Help settle my mystery...is he a ruggie or a an E?
Okay, I have recently posted updated pictures of my tank and hermit crabs in the picture gallery, but I need some advice on one of my crabs. Can anyone tell me what Davey is? I thought he was an E, but now I'm not so sure. Also, could you look at the rest of their individual pictures to make sure that I correctly identified the rest of them? I'm pretty sure about everyone besides Davey, but I'd like to be certain on the types of crabs I have roaming around my tank! You can view the pictures through the link in my signature. Thanks a lot!

Davey looks like an E, definitely. The big brown eyes are one clue but the shell is the giveaway. That is a classic native Ecuadorian shell.
Enjoy that cute little guy! E's have been my fave since I was a wee tot!

Thanks for the help everyone! I know, my eyes melted when I saw him in the pet store. The tank was aweful, and tiny bugs were flying around like crazy. I picked up a large PP because he was awake and active, and to my surprise, Davey was under the big guy! I placed the huge crab back and picked up the little guy that was buried under him. I never thought twice about putting him back down in that tank. His blue coloring is amazing and I love his brown eyes
