The school year is almost over. I am about to graduate with my bachelors in psychology, and in the fall will be starting my masters degree. This puts my life in a big period of transition.
I am down to three C. perlatus in my large tank. The rest have passed on from the seven I started with about a year ago. The cost of maintaining my large tank is going to be beyond what I can afford for the next two years.
I want to adopt out my three remaining C. perlatus. Take the tank down, perhaps put it in storage. I am located in Fresno, CA. If anybody is iterested please PM me with how long you have cared for LHCs, what species youve cared for, and a description of your tank.
I will probably still hang about the boards, but will not be as active, as I will probably be inundated with schoolwork. Thanks everyone.

being smart
I don't think I'm ready to deal w/ shipping crabs or trying out a new species yet (I only have Es & PPs, but they are doing very well), but I want to commend you for being practical about your limitations. Too many people bite off more than they can chew. You're gonna miss 'em, but later, when your circumstances are more favorable, you can take the tank out of storage and return to the life of successful crabbing.

Is Fresno up norht? I'm down near Los Angeles. I have E's, rugs, straws and pps. All of them but the new 3 I have had for 1 year, some 2 years and some 3 years this June. *knocks on wood*
They are in a 65 gallon. But honestly, I wouldn't add yours. Your's would go in smaller tank most likely. A twenty gallon would be the smallest they would go in.
All moot as I am sure you are north. There are a bunch of people out that way, if i think of their names, I'll let you know.
In the meantime, if you can't find anyone and opt for down here, there's the info.
Best of luck to you!!
It all sounds very exciting and busy!
