New to the Association! HI!

Hi everyone! I LOVE hermit crabs and was tickled to find this Association. I had hermit crabs when I was little and I was crazy about them. We were in Florida on vacation and I fell in love with a Crab at one of those beach shops. He seemed not to be doing to well but is great now. I just wanted to say Hi and let everyone know I'm new and getting back into learning all the latest info and best way to care for Chester the hermit crab!!!

Great to be here and promoting the best crab care possible!

welcome to the HCA! this site has really helped me in learning what my hermies need to make them happy and healthy. I hope you find the info here as helpful as I did.

like metalshell said, hermit crabs are social creatures, and they really thrive when they have tank mates. plus, whats better than one hermit crab? TWO hermit crabs!

I had two but I just recently lost one...I feel he wasn't well when I bought him. They had no humidity in the small tank and barely any water and they were open to the stores air conditioning. I wasn't sure if they would make it or not and only one did...I'm currently looking for a buudy for Chester...or 37
