New 55 Gallon

My parents told me today I will be getting a 55 gallon tank for my birthday. They already planned this but told me if a ate a piece of catfish, I would get it.

Errrr Gross Stuff!!! Anyway, I will be getting the tank on Saturday and will be beggining to bake sand tommorow. Also, what should I use for lighting? I'm getting the tank from Petsmart and it includes two lights, the lighting hood, and the tank for 119.99- is this a good deal? Is there sometype of nighttime light I could get for them for the hood? It is a split hood- so 24" each. By nighttime I mean moonglow bulb that would fit? Do you know what I mean?

Eh, $119.99 is not bad. The Petsmart here charges $99.99 for their 55 gallon tanks with the hoods and lights included. As far as the catfish that is some good stuff. You also might find it interesting that my state's (Mississippi) number one commodity is catfish.

I know, sometimes they act annoyed when I talk about them, but they are always asking me if I want to go to the Petstore. Within 20 minutes of me I have- 2 Petsmarts, 5 PetsuppliePlus, 3 Petco's, and numerous mom and pop stores. And yet, no e's

I also found out, I will be getting the tank on Thursday instead of Saturday, Yay!!!
