Tonight the crabs got a bowl of bananas, turkey breast, shredded coconut and raisins. I garnished their dinner with some dried pumpkin. I just watched one of the crabs wrestle one of the pumpkin "spears" (for lack of better word - they're pretty twisty for spears!) to the ground and go after it. I've had those for months and never got around to feeding them to the crabs.... I guess they like them!

We just received the crab food we bought from The Happy Hermit Crab yesterday and some of our loot from that shopping spree is in the dry food dish... we've got crabbies going crazy for that too!

:) Their staple food for the next couple of days is pnut butter crunchies, flaxseed meal, dried fruit & nut mix ground fine, w/ coconut. A side worm castings

:D And tonights addition is an uncooked meatball, sliver of apple, piece of mango & seed, & of course pieces of pumpkin-in honor of the season-arranged artfully on the shell. Plus the fact that I carved 3 pumpkins & have enough meat from them for at least a year even after throwing most of it away.
I march to the beat of a different drummer...did I mention my husband is a drummer!
