This giant indo's lost eye will be soon replaced after his next molt.

Wow! Thanks for posting a picture of that Mokulele_Hawai'i. I've seen gel legs before, but never a gel eye. Beautiful crab too! Is it one of yours?

I have never seen a hermie regenerate an eye before so that really is quite fascinating.
