OK. I have used declhorinated water, and salt water since I started crabbing. but I think I use different things than u all do? I use hermit crab safety spray for dechlor water, and hermit crab salt water for their salt water. What does everyone else do for dechlorinated water? What do you use? And do you spray it into the dishes, or do u dump some into like a gallon of water, and then put small amounts of that gallon into the water dishes? And same w/ the salt water. What do you use? And How do you put it into the dishes? Reply quick! I know this isn't the hugest emergency, but I need to know quick because Im going to the store soon!
answer soon!
Thanks, Cheyenne

I use filtered tap water and add a dechloranator to a 1 gal jug of water, for the salt water I use the same filtered tap water with decholoranator and add instand ocean to it. I find that doing batches of 1 gallon to be easier then constantly mixing up a quart. So in the end I have 1 gal dechlored and 1 gal of dechlored salt water and fill up my bowls from those.

I got mine from the fish aisle of petsmart. You have to read the bottles and make sure the one you get doesn't have stress coat or slime coat in it. And each one is different mine is topfin and I put 2 drops per gallon, which ever brand you get read the bottle and make sure it says on it how much to use per gallon.Cheyenne wrote:But where do you get a dechlorinator, and how much for one gallon?
