Yes, it's completely normal for crabs to change colors after molting. Crabs are usually pinkish after molting, but after they start to harden they grow darker.

Just wait a little. He is probably so tired and stressed out from molting. Maybe he's just sleeping. Is his body out of his shell a lot? Has he finished molting yet?

Make sure you ISO your crab. It is necessary to separate it from the other crabs, especially if you have a hermit crab that just molted. I had a crab that I accidentally dug up that was just finished with molting, so I kept it in the ISO, and it started eating King, my Jumbo's, exoskeleton.

Hi Jess,
It'd be better if you leave him completely be until he's finished eating all of his exo and is running around normally again :)

Is he in ISO? That would be a good idea if he is not doing well and you have other crabs in the tank. Hope he is ok. Be sure to feed lots of raspberries and calcuim. These are extreamy good foods after a stressfull molt. Make sure you feed raspberries because they have vitamin D and so does sunshine. Vitamin D allows the body to use calcium. Without vitamin D calcium is usless. Thats why in reptiles they ahve to have special sun lamps.

Hope the little guy does ok.

Alright,

Well so far. He is up ALOT now. He still is in process of eating his exo. I dont have raspberries, haha. He is still pink, but turning a little purple.

I picked him up, like to make sure hes alive, I didnt touch his skin, only because i didnt want to hurt him.
