Can anyone tell me why my girlfriend's White's Tree Frog is getting bloated like this? I only feed them one big meal per week because their number one problem as a species and number one health problem is over eating and obesity which, like a human being, can limit the life expectancy of your frog. I gauge their feedings based on the fatty ridge above the eye. An over development of this ridge points to obesity in the frog. It's best to keep them at a weight where this ridge is visible but not over developed.
Back to my problem.... he's been getting like this over the past week or two and I have a good idea of the cause, but I don't want to influence anyones answer. So please, if you know anything about WTFs, please let me know what you think.
