I remember when I got my larges! In fact, they were my first crabs after setting up a nice tank.
Now, let me tell you, I was scared of them! But they seem to actually be more gentle with older age. I did get pinched once, but she let go quickly.
Good luck!
Pics?

Nice crab! Very good coloring, too. Bright purple claw, nice red legs. Just how a PP should look!
I have to admit, my larges were a bit large than that...maybe jumbos? Either way, that still is a pretty big crab!

I LOVE the big ones! I have so many larges, I don't know what to do with them.
They're so gentle compared to the smaller ones.

Whoa, larges are gentler? I always expected them to be...I dunno...mean? Tear your fingers off if you bug them? o_o
Also, don't they tend to be less hardy?

Yeah, my larges never pinch and most of mine will just sit in my hand and look around. Some of them are insane and like to run around, but they've never tried to pinch me.
They do have more problems molting, because they're so big.

That's what she said.
Anyways I didn't know those were considered large. The person at Petsmart had no idea what they were talking about lol.
