Crab Color and Molting
I had an come up from molting.
When we purchased him he was a gorgeous blue/gray color. We knew he was missing his BP. We felt sorry for him and decided he was the guy to purchase.
Upon closer inspection at home we realized he was missing 1 leg and his shell was cracked. There was a stub where his BP was. We assumed his injuries were the results of a fight (maybe more than one).
He is up from his molt for more than a week. He started off a light pink color but is now returning to his blue/gray color.
During the molt he "grew back" his BP and missing leg. Hurray But those remain an almost white/light pink color. Will these limbs changecolor?

THANKS for everyone's kind words.
We have only been at this about 4 months. But boy have we learned A LOT from all the kind people on this website.
The last 3 crabs we purchased all had medical issues. It gives me hope that we can be successful at buying/rescuing the crabs that nobody else seems to want.
