She looks a lot like my PP Periwinkle. She was bright blue when I got her but has a teeny bit more of a purple tint now that she's molted. She doesn't really have the red on her legs though.

Ah, *Kathy*, if I may be so bold as to bump this old thread with a photo update from your other recent choya thread -
Ambrosia, over a couple of weeks ago:
Drumroll pleeeez...Ambrosia, seen NOW!
I guess as Megs said, it is just a temp thing. However, I expected the color return with the next molt, not during the intermolt phase....
The eyes still have that little "eyeliner" thing going with the light color, and it seems the antennae still have a little of the blue going on.
Fascinating little buggers, aren't they?
